Acoustic cloud ceiling panels – Square & Rectangle

Suspended ceiling treatments are essential to office acoustics. We will cover how they relate to several office related noise problems and how suspended ceiling treatments can help. While this article is geared towards office applications, please note that many of these principles can also be applied to school classrooms, commercial spaces, and residential applications.

Product introduction

Acoustical cloud ceiling panels are one of the most common sights you will see in a typical office setting. Drop ceilings are essentially a secondary ceiling that is installed beneath the main, structural ceiling. They are also sometimes referred to as suspended ceilings, false ceilings, and island ceilings.

The main raw material of acoustic ceiling clouds is glass wool. Glass wool belongs to one category of glass fiber, which is a kind of artificial inorganic fiber. Natural ores such as quartz sand, limestone and dolomite are used as the main raw materials, and some chemical raw materials such as soda ash and borax are fused into glass. In the melting state, it is blown by external force to form flocculent fine fibers. The fibers and fibers are three-dimensional crossing and intertwined, showing many small gaps. This gap can be regarded as a pore, and is a typical porous sound absorbing material with good sound absorption characteristics. It can be made into wallboard, ceiling, space sound absorber, etc., which can absorb a lot of sound energy in the room, reduce reverberation time, and reduce indoor noise.
